And the winner is . . .

Monday sunrise, London time, the traditional deadline for entries to our weekly chart quiz, keeps getting earlier. Assuming current trends continue then by 2032 we’ll have to close the quiz an hour before opening it, which’d make it proper challenge.

Last week’s quiz was not much of a challenge , all answers having been made available elsewhere in the FT that week.

Here’s what nearly all of you said:

CHART 1

The gold-silver ratio is from this April 10 ETF market update .

CHART 2

That ridiculous thing is from Madison Darbyshire’s excellent ‘Billionaires’ playgrounds’: the $1mn fees upending Florida’s golf clubs .

CHART 3

The potato plot’s from ‘It’s too wet’: UK food security at risk because of record rain, farmers warn , in the Weekend FT, by Madeleine Speed.

To the wheel:

Congratulations to Carl Magnus Magnusson, of the OECD, who’s this week’s winner of the exclusive FTAV “I heart charts” tee.

A runner’s-up prize of . . . nothing . . . goes to comment-box loiterer YourGrannyOnBongos who included with his entry an AI-generated song about the chart quiz (as well as its EDM remix ):

They call it the FTAV chart-based quiz But if you ask me it’s just a swizz Questions so tough they’ll drive you insane But I won’t back down, gonna play their game

That’s the spirit. We’ll go again on Friday.
