Infosys, India’s second-largest software exporter by revenue, posted a better-than-expected rise in its third-quarter consolidated net profit, but cut its dollar revenue forecast for this fiscal year through March for the second time, reports the WSJ. The company said net profit for the three months through December was 23.72bn rupees ($458m), compared with 17.80 bn rupees a year earlier. Net profit grew more than 24 per cent from the 19.06bn rupees in the September quarter.
