Risk appetite curtailed on China

Worries about Chinese monetary policy and another national strike in Greece made traders feel they had been transported back in time on Thursday, reawakening fears that were, if not overcome, at least dormant. This may make any grind higher in equities to fresh cyclical highs that much more tortuous. The FTSE All-World index fell 0.1 per cent, at 8:10 a.m. London time, and US equity futures point to a 0.2 per cent loss for Wall Street at the open, reports the FT in its markets overview.
