Overnight markets: Down

Asian stocks fell on Tuesday, led by a fifth day of declines in the Nikkei 225 average amid concerns about a fresh round of capital-raising by Japanese banks, reports Bloomberg. The dollar and yen rose as investors pared bets on higher-yielding assets.  Futures on the S&P500 Index lost 0.2% after the gauge rallied 1.4% on Monday on reports that US sales of existing homes rose 10% in October to their highest since February 2007.
