Asian stocks mostly advanced on Friday as lower US jobless claims, stronger than expected Chinese industrial production figures and a higher forecast for global oil demand offset slower-than estimated growth in Japan’s. Futures on the S&P500 Index dropped 0.2% after the benchmark added 1% on Thursday.
