BM&F Bovespa, Brazil’s futures and equities exchange, and the Nasdaq OMX Group of the US are discussing a “strategic, commercial and technological partnership”, the Brazilian exchange said on Wednesday. If completed, the partnership would mark further expansion of BM&F Bovespa’s international activities, which have expanded rapidly since it was formed by the merger of Brazil’s derivatives and stock exchanges in May 2008.
