UK officials on Tuesday moved to recover a vintage Aston Martin car and other assets belonging to the brother of Bernard Madoff, claiming they were bought with funds transferred from the disgraced broker’s UK-based business. The court-appointed liquidators of Bernard Madoff’s UK operations, Madoff Securities International (MSIL), claimed he wired £135,000 for the purchase of an Aston Martin car for his brother, Peter Madoff, according a court filing in Florida.
