Garry Alides Willinge, Independent Non-Executive Director (aged 57)
Mr. Willinge is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the Hong Kong
Institute of Directors. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from the University of Melbourne in Australia and then attained a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute Education in Australia in 1995. Mr. Willinge served as director, Global Services, of IBM China, Hong Kong Limited until January 2005. He previously held leadership positions in a number of IBM Asia Paci¢c and European business units, including director of New Business Ventures of the Asia Paci¢c. Mr. Willinge was director of Information Technology for the Sydney Olympic Games 2000. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Business Studies at Curtin University of Technology in Australia. He was assigned to theWest Australian Premier in 1990, where he led the O⁄ce of Public Sector Management which focused on leading public sector reform and developing CEO leadership within the sector. In Hong Kong, he also served as a member of the General Management Committee of the Hong Kong Management Association. He is an independent non-executive director of China Medical Science Limited and JF Household Furnishings Limited, both of which are listed on the Growth Enterprise Market of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the ‘‘Hong Kong Stock Exchange’’). Mr. Willinge also serves as an independent nonexecutive director of China Properties Group Limited, a Chinese property development company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
Sir David William Brewer, Independent Non-Executive Director (aged 67)
Sir David Brewer was Lord Mayor of London from 2005 to 2006. He began his career with marine insurance company Sedgwick Collins in 1959. He was later responsible for setting up the group o⁄ce in China in 1981 and obtained the ¢rst broker’s authorisation in China in 1993. He has been a director or consultant for a number of insurance companies around the world, and is currently Vice President of the Great Britain-China Centre. He has experience of the AIM market through his existing roles as chairman of environmental engineering company, Tinci Holdings Ltd, which operates in the Chinese market and as non-executive director of Asia-focused ¢nancial services company London Asia Capital PLC.
He was given a Knighthood in the New Year Honours 2007. Sir David has a degree from the University of Grenoble, France.
Henry Hin Wing Lai, Independent Non-Executive Director (aged 50)
Mr. Lai has been a partner at P.C. Woo & Co., a ¢rm of solicitors and notaries in Hong Kong, since 1996
and has a broad range of experience in legal work relating to commercial matters and corporate finnance. His experience includes advising on and handling general commercial/corporate work, mergers and acquisitions for listed companies, restructuring of companies and the drafting of joint venture agreements, shareholders agreements, and other related documents. Mr. Lai is also experienced in corporate finance work involving listing of companies on the Main Board and the Growth Enterprise Market Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. He is a non-executive director of Allied Properties (H.K.) Limited and an independent non-executive director of Maxitech International Holdings Limited, both of which are listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. He graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Law degree. Mr. Lai has been admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong, England and Wales and the State of Victoria, Australia. Mr. Lai is a Notary Public and a China Appointed Attesting O⁄cer in Hong Kong.
Mui Kwan Chan, Non-Executive Director (aged 36)
Ms. Chan is one of the Principal Shareholders of the Company. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in
Applied Mathematics from South China Normal University in 1993. She worked in the property
development department of Guangzhou Hengxin Group, a major local property construction and
investment company, from 1994 to 1997. She worked in Dason Investments Limited and was mainly
responsible for the commercial and residential property in the PRC.
