Overnight markets: Fresh concerns

Asian stock markets and commodities retreated on Tuesday while the yen pushed higher as fresh concerns on Wall Street, more bleak US corporate news and a souring economic outlook took the steam out of investor hopes sparked by Monday’s news of China’s massive stimulus plan.
