From British Land this morning:
At 122 Leadenhall demolition and preparation of the sub-structure is proceeding satisfactorily; however, we are reviewing timing of construction and target completion in order to optimise cost and occupational demand.

The Leadenhall building - or cheesegrater - was slated for completion in 2011. Oversupply in the City’s commercial property market, however, does not bode well. British Land already have a number of half-empty office spaces still waiting to be sold. Here’s hoping to an swift normalisation then. Still, at least Prince Charles will have one less thing to moan about.
Others in the spotlight:
The London Bridge Tower (The Shard of Glass)
One Blackfriars Road Tower (The Boomerang)
The Pinnacle (The Helter Skelter)
And one which wont be missed… 20 Fenchurch Street (The Nokia 6230 Walkie Talkie)
