The wait is almost over. Carl Icahn will launch his long-awaited blog – The Icahn Report – on Thursday, according to Reuters.
Icahn has been teasing the blogosphere since February, when he said he intended to offer anecdotes and a running commentary on “the desultory state of corporate governance in America.”
Up until recently, the site only had one post, dated Jan 31. It said, simply:
“Blog coming soon. Please subscribe. Thank you.”
But as of 17:45 ET this afternoon, visitors to http://icahnreport.com/ were greeted with “sponsored listings”, courtesy of the domain’s host, and this message

A bit of house keeping before tomorrow’s launch, or an indicator that Icahn is still too busy tormenting Jerry Yang to get down to the business of blogging?
We’ll just have to wait and see whether the activist investor really does post something tomorrow, or whether the New York Post’s “Carl ‘I Can’t’ Blog Counter” will live to countdown another day.
