Assuming you could slum it for 12 weeks in the Brentwood egozoo we’d recommend you apply for the next series of The Apprentice (UK edition, of course). Or at least, we would have done, until we heard Surralun’s views on the credit crisis:
It’s the investment bankers… Those 30-year-old open-collared executives swigging Evian in their offices. They sit there and criticise me, saying what a bloody wanker I am and then they lose £1 million and Bear Stearns goes down the drain in the middle of the night.
Which – admittedly – is a LOT worse that losing £30 in Chapel Market on misidentified fish. “The teams must clear the stock. Surralun doesn’t want unsold fish in his boardroom!” Or Evian.
