A top-down picture of the London equity market on Monday suggested nothing was going on; the FTSE 100 was little changed. But a bottom-up view pointed to some very active pockets of business. Witness Debenhams (up 12 per cent), IG Group (down 5.5 per cent), Crock (-4.6), and Hammerson (+4.2).
