Ferox has hooked Morgan Stanley’s former head of European prime brokerage to be chief executive of the $2bn (£1.01bn) London hedge fund. The appointment of Jack Inglis is the latest in a series of moves by hedge funds to split fund management from administration and sales, as investors increasingly demand institutional-level risk controls. Jeremy Herrmann, the former champion fly fisherman who founded Ferox, will concentrate on his role as chief investment officer at the convertible bond specialist after Mr Inglis arrives in July.
