Here’s £10m. Go on, take it…well, virtually…we’re not made of money.
The iShares ETF trading game, in association with the FT, offers you a virtual £10m to place in any of their LSE-listed funds – how you invest it is up to you. Devise your own carefully thought-out strategy – or seek out a monkey throwing darts, widely thought to be broadly as effectively in determining trading success.
Top prize – for the person/monkey who makes the most profit from the £10m starting balance – is a £10,000 holiday for two to your choice of the BRIC countries.
Each month, one lucky soul will be granted a breakfast meeting with the FT Alphaville editor, Paul Murphy! We advise following his trading tips for a cast-iron guarantee that you won’t suffer the same fate the following month.
We’ll attempt to lay our hands on some useful research to educate your virtual trading decisions – or at least provide bedding for your monkey.
The competition is now hotting up. Badz is still top of the leader board with £10,265,351.56, but he/she has temporarily cashed out — fearing a short term pull back, perhaps. Close behind are tricky99, cb and weifoong — all fully invested.
