Markets Live at 11am

Vodafone has broken through 150p this morning after news that it has won the battle for control of Hutchinson Essar, India’s fourth-largest mobile operator. Aside from a short-lived rally in the summer of 2005, shares in Vodafone have not traded at these issues for five years.

So has the City finally fallen back in love with the company? Find out in Markets Live at 11am.

Also on the agenda for Alphaville’s live daily markets commentary: Rolls-Royce, GlaxoSmithKline, First Choice, InterContinental, and also some good news from a little diamond producer called Target Resources.

On the bad news front we will be looking at a public censure of NM Rothschild over BT and PlusNet, and a nasty little statement from a previously obscure company Adamind.
